Our founder

Jeff Zack is a successful serial entrepreneur with a passion for building businesses with amazing culture. Businesses that have a winsome workplace and that bless others. He settled on the M68 non-negatable core values early in his business life and they have been the foundation for all of his efforts. He is the retired co-founder of Fomcore, a soft seating manufacturer providing quality furniture to schools, universities, healthcare, as well as other commercial and government entities. He has recently exited Fomcore and is now a Florida resident, he still has a passion for building something special and looks forward to what is ahead.

Our story

M68 LLC is at the most basic level a holding company protecting the businesses and projects Jeff is working on. A wider view would be that it is a place where you can learn more about the M68 way of doing business, connect with Jeff, and learn about what he is doing.

We believe in the Ministry of Business and that the best way we can Bless Others is by building and supporting successful businesses that employ people in a winsome workplace, provide quality products and services, and adhere to the highest ethical standards.

The 4 bootstraps

Half and Half

A simple cart in West Shore Mall, Holland Michigan, with half Michigan State and half University of Michigan items. Did so well on opening day that the mall collegiate store demanded it close. A pivot to a small franchise saved the season.

Hot Tops

A large T-Shirt Kiosk in the Muskegon Mall (now a street) with hundreds of designs and products.

Z Supply, LLC

A manufacturer of Insulated Underground Pipe and supply house for the OWB industry. The machines Jeff invented manufactured millions of feet of pipe and are still making pipe for the new owner, Twin Springs Heating.

Fomcore

Jeff is co-founder and co-owner of Fomcore where he still contributes and exercises his passion for workplace culture and blessing others. Fomcore employees about 170 staff and has two manufacturing facilities.
